Biography
Dr. Sabu V. U. is an Indian conservation scientist, orchid researcher, environmental management specialist, and healthcare administrator with interdisciplinary expertise spanning biodiversity conservation, ecological research, environmental sustainability, and quality management.
He is the Founder and Chief Conservationist of Eunoia Orchid Research Garden, an ISO 9001:2015 Certified orchid conservation and research centre located in the Western Ghats of Kerala, one of the world's recognized biodiversity hotspots.
His research and conservation work focuses on the documentation, ex-situ conservation, habitat restoration, and climate resilience of native orchids of the Western Ghats. He has documented and conserved more than 265 native orchid species, including endemic, rare, and threatened taxa.
