Native Orchid Biodiversity and Research Centre (NOBRC) Private Limited is dedicated to the research, conservation, restoration, and sustainable management of India's native orchid biodiversity.
Based in Wayanad, Kerala, within the globally recognized Western Ghats Biodiversity Hotspot, NOBRC focuses on documenting, protecting, propagating, and restoring indigenous orchid species through scientific research, field conservation, habitat restoration, education, and public awareness.
The Centre is recognized as India's first private-sector institution dedicated exclusively to the research and conservation of native orchid biodiversity , bringing together conservation science, ecological restoration, taxonomy, horticulture, and community participation to safeguard the country's invaluable orchid heritage for future generations.
